Conrad Susa’s Carols and Lullabies: Christmas in the Southwest for Chorus, Harp, Guitar and Marimba; carols by American composers from Colonial times to our time, Magnificat by Theodore Pachelbel of Colonial New England, “It’s Happy Holiday Time;” by Ken Guilmartin, and Christmas music from classic American films. Young Composers Concert
Celebrate the musical creativity of song-writers ages 5 to 12 who participate in the VOICES Children’s Music Composition Workshops & Contest. We invite parents and music teachers to encourage children to write songs for birthdays, holidays, bedtimes, and family events. The deadline for this annual contest is March 1, 2010.
